The MOTUS project (MObility and Tourism in Urban Scenarios) was funded under the call for proposals Industria 2015 – Sustainable Mobility’ by the Ministry of Economic Development, with the aim of creating an intelligent digital platform to support sustainable mobility.
The project was launched in 2008 with the involvement of 25 national entities. Among the local partners, in addition to Habitech, were Create-net/FBK and the University of Trento, along with some entities in the Primiero area (ACSM SpA, CdV Primiero-Vanoi).
MOTUS is a service platform capable of real-time detection, aggregation, and interpretation of urban mobility based on information from existing heterogeneous infrastructures in the area and data from mobile devices in the areas of interest.
