Build-in-Wood aims to develop an innovative and sustainable value chain for the construction of multi-story wooden buildings. This challenge is addressed through the development of materials, components, structural systems, and facade elements for both renovations and new constructions.
The activities will be tested and thoroughly documented through a Design Guide and the development of a digital pilot for immediate market uptake.
The project consortium consists of 21 partners and 7 Early Adopter Cities (EACs) committed to urban policies promoting and developing wood construction.
