Habitech risulta essere un attore fondamentale nella partecipazione ai progetti europei e nazionali in quanto partner strategico grazie alla sua natura consorziata.

Habitech intende sviluppare nel prossimo triennio 2018-2020 per i progetti finanziati, non solo attraverso le call di Horizon 2020, ma anche attraverso altre fonti quali ad esempio Life, finanziamenti nazionali, Provinciali e Regionali. Habitech vuole avere un ruolo attivo nel coinvolgimento dei Soci in questi progetti, proponendosi sia come promotore, sia come coordinatore che come supporto ai singoli progetti.

  • STARDUST is an EU Horizon 2020 Smart Cities project, which brings together advanced European cities, thus forming into a constellation of “innovation islands” – exemplary models of smart, highly efficient, intelligent and citizen-oriented cities.

    Technical green solutions and innovative non-technical solutions will be implemented and validated, enabling them to be bankable and replicable for other cities. Indeed, STARDUST will lighten up the path for cities to relish a more sustainable livelihood by interweaving innovation and imagination at your fingertips.

  • OptEEmAL, a project funded under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, will develop an Optimised Energy Efficient Design Platform able to design energy efficient retrofitting projects that are based on different energy conservation measures to improve the behaviour of a district. The tool will reduce time delivery and uncertainties and result in improved solutions when compared to business-as-usual practices. Under the coordination of CARTIF Technology Centre, 13 partners from 8 countries are working on delivering an optimised, integrated and systemic design tool based on an Integrated Project Delivery approach for building and district retrofitting projects.

  • School buildings are places of major public interest. Our children are educated in life’s basics, in some schools beyond that. Therefore not only the educational system itself, but also the conditions of these buildings are very important signals to the public, even to the pupils themselves. Schools were mostly built between 1950ies and 1980ies. Beside educational aspects the school buildings are presently in high need of renovation. Together with the discussions about future education the topic is on the political agenda. But even when the school buildings are in poor condition most of the school owners lack of financial resources to retrofit them in a comprehensive way. The RENEW SCHOOL project aims at retrofitting a great amount of school buildings to highest nearly zero energy buildings (nZEB) standards. It will, by promoting appropriate tools and measures, help to downsize the energy use significantly as well as create and secure comfortable conditions for the pupils and teachers. Sustainable school renovation actions build on following three focus points promoted by this project (the “RENEW SCHOOL way” of renovation):

    • Improvement of the building’s envelope by coating it with insulated prefabricated timber modules including wooden frame windows, solar shading and ventilation components.
    • Improvement of the indoor environment quality (IEQ) by ventilating, passive cooling and daylight upgrading the classrooms.
    • Improvement of the energy generation on site by using active renewable energy sources, beside the passive gains, integrated in the school buildings.

    Even more important is supporting decisions for best renovation practice by offering good examples, new ideas and technologies in the field of school renovation and its funding schemes, and last but not least a suitable platform to exchange these knowledge and experiences.

  • With the objective of fostering the energy efficiency of the building sector through the adoption of near Zero Energy Buildings (buildings that have very high energy performance) concepts in new or existing buildings, the SouthZEB project develops training modules targeted towards specific professionals (Engineers, Architects, municipality technicians and decision makers) in Southern European countries (Greece, Cyprus, Southern Italy and Portugal). The training modules will be implemented by the project partners in the target Southern European Countries (less advanced on the progress towards nearly Zero Energy Buildings), leveraging on the experience and know-how from front runner project partners countries (Austria, UK, Northern Italy).

    In this way, the SouthZEB project aims to achieve the necessary conditions towards the implementation of the goals established on the EPBD recast (Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, 2010/31/EU) regarding nearly Zero Energy Buildings.

    The project brings together professionals, decision makers, educators and certification authorities in a unique e-learning platform, where training materials, simulation tools and remote courses can be accessed.

  • Il progetto “SHELL - Ecosistemi domestici condivisi ed interoperabili per ambienti di vita sostenibili, confortevoli e sicuri”, approvato dal MIUR, è stato avviato nei primi mesi del 2014 ed ha una durata di 36 mesi.

    SHELL ha l’obiettivo di proporre un’evoluzione dell’approccio domotico in grado di trasformare la casa in un insieme di ecosistemi condivisi ed interoperabili. L’implementazione di un substrato tecnologico che integri l’acquisizione di informazioni in ambiti diversificati e per loro natura multifunzionali (energy, comfort, safety & security management), è il “frame work di interoperabilità” alla base dello sviluppo del progetto.

  • Il "Made in Italy - Architettura della performance" è un progetto varato dal Ministero delle Sviluppo Economico – Industria 2015 – inerente l’area obiettivo “presidio strategico dei mercati”. Il progetto è iniziato a fine 2011 e, a seguito di una richiesta di proroga, dovuta principalmente alle difficoltà incontrate nel trovare una location estera per la costruzione del prototipo, il progetto finirà il 28 aprile 2017. Habitech è il soggetto Primo Proponente del progetto e collabora con 13 partner, 7 dei quali Soci del Distretto, di cui 8 aziende private e 5 centri di ricerca.
