Net Zero Audit

Race to Zero emissions

We devise the most effective strategy and plan all the necessary interventions to help you become net-zero (zero carbon emissions).

Race to Zero is the campaign launched by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) – Directive 2018/844/EU EPBD – with the aim of encouraging buildings in the European Union to become ‘net-zero’ by 2050.

Through the NZC (Net Zero Carbon) audit service, we offer the planning of all the building interventions necessary to achieve zero carbon emissions, together with the resulting energy savings, and an estimate of the associated costs.

The service includes the identification of improvement strategies and the estimation of associated capex, the drafting of a decarbonisation road map, and advice on the implementation and monitoring of planned performance through Energy Audit and LCA.

We carry out the analysis through the CRREM (Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor) tool, to validate the proposed improvement paths and plan interventions and investments so that carbon and energy intensity values always remain within the annual reference trajectories – expressed respectively in kWh per m2 and CO2 per m2 – aligned with the Paris Agreements for the 2°C and 1.5°C targets.

To support the survey and with the aim of ensuring a shared and measurable strategy at the community level, we also provide a consultancy service for obtaining an international NZC certification, such as Zero Carbon, Zero Energy from ILFI (International Living Building Future), or LEED Zero.
